Artists vending at Asheville Art in the Park donate 10% of their sales to a pre-selected nonprofit that works locally in the arts. The money is donated to groups that have a direct impact on artist’s lives and help them achieve their business goals. So far artists vending at the market have donated more then $10,000 to the following nonprofit organizations: Open Hearts Art Center, Handmade in America, Flood Gallery and Art Center, Mountain Bizworks, Asheville Sister Cities, Asheville Art Museum and the Asheville Area Arts Council. Each of these organizations has a proven track record of helping promote area artists. You can find out more about each of these great organizations by visiting their websites.
